help adding a session to gdm

I just downloaded and compiled the CVS version of enlightenment.  What I
want to do is test it out while keeping the stable version of enlightenment
as my default system-wide sesion for gdm.  I've gotten past the configure
and make stages of the install of enlightenment (CVS).  Can I set up
another session for gdm that will exec gnome-session and use the CVS
version of enlightenment instead of the stable one?
