On the Amiga, there was a fellow who wrote a program called VCLI which
allowed you to control your CLI on the Amiga through voice.  It worked
after a fashion.  It was slow and clunky but it worked about 60% of
the time.  If you could find the algorithm he used that potentially
can be a base for our own speech recognition.
