Hi,
I looked at the gnome manual but I didn't see anything like this:
Is it possible to create symlinks without using the popup menus? I want
to select a bunch of files and make links to them from another
directory (linking to the directory doesn't help).
Maybe a configurable option which asks me (after dropping files from on
gmc window to another) what I want to do with the files I'm dropping.
If any of you come from the Tcl/Tk world, you may have seen this type
of behavior in tkdesk. Basically, you select your files, drag them from
on tkdesk window to another and when you drop them, a popup appears
asking if you want to copy, move or symlink the files.
This should be configurable and you could allow users to determine what
the default operation should be (as it is now, the default is copy).
