gmixer toasts my cd sound!

Heh, catchy title. :)

I use sound module es1370 compiled into my kernel. all enlightenment and
gnome sounds work. Audio CD's also work.
When i run the mixer on the panel, i can successfully change the volume,
with the slider. When I right click it and open 'gmixer' my CD audio no
longer works. All other sound does, just not CD audio. A reboot is
required to fix it.
