Is there an easy way of changing the device labels on the desktop?
I have two entries in my fstab for my zip drive
/dev/hdc4 /mnt/zipdos vfat user,noauto 0 0
/dev/hdc1 /mnt/ziplinux ext2 user,noauto 0 0
On my desktop, gmc creates names disk0 and disk1 (or something like
that.. I'm not at my home computer at the moment).
this doesn't give me any idea which is for dos and which is for linux..
I'd like to change the displayed names to be "zip" and "zipdos"
Does anyone know if there is a consistent way of doing this?
I want to make sure if I do a rescan of devices, that I don't end up with
duplicates..
Ryan
