Perhaps combining packages isn't the answer. Maybe for those of you who
like RPMs, you could have some sort of FTP-Installation front-end...sorta
like the Redhat-FTP install. You could select the features you wanted,
and it would download and install exactly what you need...
I would imagine that for a group of individules that coded such a thing as
Gnome, this isn't such a difficult task. On the FTP site, all it would
require is one or two extra files as reference for the program.
