Execution errors...

Id like to just comment on the error:

I also have gotten this error when trying to run gmc, the gnome
control-center and just about every GNOME app I have.....  Also I have
gtk+ 1.2.1 and glib 1.2.1, however i ran ldd /usr/local/bin/gmc and came
up with a link from gnomeui.so.32 =>
/usr/local/libgnomeui.so.32........on looking in /usr/local/lib for this
file i found only  libgnomeui.so.32 -> libgnomeui.so.32.8.1 and an array
of other libgnomeui libs...none matching gnomeui.so.32 however.........i
did no further investigation, im too know to gnome to be poking around
