Broke haf the system

Hi

I finaly go hold of Berkly db from sleepycat as
linked on the
Gnome site and compiled the tar file over my rpm
install then
done an updatedb. rpm --rebuilddb and
/sbin/ldconfig and now
I have libgtop and Imlib libraries with brokne
links and the only
applet that works is the modem light and Eterm is
broken all my
shared libs down the toilet,  whats this  darn db
do apart from
break things, seemed to work better without it
