GMC Question again

Well, I discovered that my gmc is in fact reading the mc.ext file,
HOWEVER, even if I specify Icon=/pathtoicon/icon.xpm the icon never
changes. Where ame I going wrong here. I also created a dir
/usr/pathtognome/mc/lib/icons and copied all my pixmaps there as gmc says
it will look there. Still no icons..... Why ?? Did ineed to specify
support for xpm or something.

Help Would be appreciated.
