Thanks, but in the 22 or so hours that elapsed from the time I sent the mail
until it came back to me via the mailing list, I had already figured out
what was wrong. Has anyone else noticed a lengthy lag on the list? This is
being posted at 19:45 GMT on the 7th. Let's see when it arrives in your
mailbox.
Also, I've seen a whole lot of rm -rf and cvs checkout instructions. Isn't
there are way to get cvs to do what I actually expected the update -dP
command to do -- completely, reliably, and effectively sync my tree with the
source?
Also, what mailing list/web page/whatever should I monitor to gain important
information such as the bit about ORBit's FOR_PANEL build mode? When I first
heard of it on gnome-list, it wasn't being announced, it was being referred
to as something people should know already.
