RE: [gtk-list] Re: GTK for windows



a simple way to make it disappear would be to just 'hide' the taskbar ...
and then, you could just 'intercept' the message from the keybord and
redirect it to Gnome..  (i mean it is probably possible, with a really
little effort, to actually get the 'Windows' standard disappear ... 

(there is some things that still need to get done.... you could probably
also get simply rid of the Windows GUI ... and use XWindows R6.4 (CygWin has
some diff to make it compile... maybe  it will just replace Windows.. and
make it work under a DOS environemt.. but you love the win32 APi in some
way...

(please, don't flame me .. i'm just trying to understand and find a way to
do it .. and my knowledge of Windows so far is NOT that advanced... )
