CVS compile problems

I have been having this problem for weeks, even wiping all my gnome
stuff and starting fresh hasn't helped..

Anyhow, I get glib from CVS. autogen, compile, installs clean. then I
get to gtk+,
and after getting almost all the way to the end, it pukes all over
itself and dies..

following is the error

I have all the right autoconf,libtool, etc.. as listed in the
HOWTO/FAQ.. and for months I had been sucessfully compiling gnome... any
idea as to what happened?

Any help is appreciated, and please feel free to ask me for any more
info you may need..
