I take it you edited the autogen.sh file (as mentioned in Soren's FAQ)?  You
need a space between the '-I' and the aclocal include path, as in

  aclocal -I /opt/gnome/share/aclocal $ACLOCAL_FLAGS
            ^

That one bit me too!
