Any floppy formatter available?

There is a rather nice KDE tool for formatting floppy disks called
"kfloppy".  Is there already any GNOME equivalent such like "gfloppy"
or similiar in the works or even already available?

I'm perfectly comfortable with "superformat -B /dev/fd0" or just a
simple "mformat a:", but the users of the Linux boxes i administrate
aren't at all.  And since i'd rather prefer to completely do without
qt and KDE (although they did a great job on it) on said machines...
