Now that is very strange. these are the RPM's that I have installed:
[empress@galahad database]$ rpm -qa | grep gtk
gtk+-1.0.1-3
[empress@galahad database]$ rpm -qa | grep glib
glib-1.0.1-3
glibc-2.0.7-19
glibc-devel-2.0.7-19
