Problem installing gmc and gnome-guile

Hello all,

I am trying to install gnome, and I (think that I) got all of the
appropriate files.  However, when I try to install it, everything works,
except for gmc and gnome-guile.  I get the following error:

failed dependencies:
	libgdk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gmc-4.1.35-3
	libgtk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gmc-4.1.35-3
	libgdk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gnome-guile-0.27-1
	libgtk-1.1.so.1 is needed by gnome-guile-0.27-1
Can someone please tell me where to find these?  I have been searching
various FTP archives and reading every web page I can for three days now.
