You can use the fvwm-pager in a osrt of headless mode, which will
allow you to control fvwm2 with the gnome-pager. the fvwm-pager must
be started from the window manager (it's a fvwm-module), but the
gnome-pager will happily find this module and think it's running under 
enlightment (to a certain degree). See the NEWS and README file in the 
fvsm-pager applet directory.
