Anonymous CVS

Ok,  here's a question that I haven't seen asked.  I also checked the FAQ,
the web-site, et alia.  What version of CVS does the anonymous CVS server
use?  I'm using CVS 1.10, and I'm beginning to wonder if I should go back
down to CVS 1.9.
