Actually, upgrading ORBit was my main problem at the configure stage, I
can't really help you there.  Altough a problem (and I really felt like
hitting my Microsoft Win95 boot disk I use to make my stress go away),
was that RedHat installed alot of stuff with prefix /usr, instead of
/usr/local, and that when I came to compile instead of using boring
RPM's, I had lots of old version stuff, the --prefix=/usr/local at
configure.

Altough I really doubt it might be the cause to your problem, but it's
sometimes a small detail that I learned to hate :)
