CVS trouble w/ popt module?

Weird. I can check out gnome-libs without problems on my Linux box,
using CVS 1.9. But using 1.10.3 under Solaris, it can't find the popt

Output and short CVS script attached. Am I doing something wrong here?

dev2:/usr/local/home/jgarzik/cvs> rm -rf gnome* popt* macro* CVS*
