Using Panel menus makes panel goes core dump...

I've compiled the 0.13 release (from the daily tarball snapshots
... should be the one from the 26th of May, anyway), i can't have
panel menus working. I Mean, 1st time i try to launch smthg, i got a
message telling about Xlib catching some request and then, if i try to 
launch anything (same application or not), the panel goes core
dump... anyone got an idea about that ?

I'm running RH5.0, with Xfree 3.3.2 (got the devel rpm also), compiled 
the whole stuff with egcs 1.0.2...
