Yes; the number of intl bug reports seems to have dropped off. Or
perhaps I'm ignoring them more effectively.
There is one known problem left when a subdir has its own configure.in
(but would still like to share the intl/ and po/ infrastructure with
its sibling directories). There's a patch to gettext.m4 somewhere in
the pipeline that should help with this.
