SANE in now on CVS (Was: Re: GNOME & SANE )

I gave it a whirl and hopefully have not crashed the server in the process, it

SANE is now in the CVS tree under a module called ... sane !

It still won't compile out of the box as I'm having trouble working out
how I tell configure to include my new libraries etc.  I just put all the
files there to see if it worked.

It also gives me a benefit with my autoconf/configure emails to Tom, as he
can now see what files I'm talking about (I need to adjust
frontends/Makefile).

So give us a few days to work out these Makefile problems then have a look,
still early days yet but you can get some ideas.  Suggestions are welcome.
