Error when compiling gnome-core

Hi!

I have an error when i try to "make" gnome-core, it prints this:

 /usr/local/lib/libgnomeui.so: undefined reference to `dgettext'
make[2]: *** [gemvt] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/reboot/gnome-core-0.13/gemvt'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/reboot/gnome-core-0.13'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I have already compiled and installed the gnome-libs and the gettext.
Can anyone help me with this?
