problems compiling gnome-admin

I just tried compiling the gnome-admin module and got an error:

/usr/lib/crt1.o:(.text+0x36) undefined reference to 'main'

This is on a Redhat 5.0 system with gcc-2.7.3.2-8 and glibc-2.0.6-9.

I have already compiled and installed the following packages:

Imlib-1.1 from cvs
mico-2.0.3 from cvs
gtk+-0.99.4 from a rpm
gnome-libs from cvs
gnome-objc from cvs
gnome-core from cvs
