Dance three times 'round the terminal,
shout "Oooga Bugga!" and drop back into
your chair with a big sigh.
Everything should now work perfectly.
j/k:: After days of frustration, I just
solved this problem for myself: you need to
install the imlib from cvs as well.... And then
probably rebuild all of the gnome modules you have already.
The imlib module is aptly named "imlib".
Good luck.

(Oh -- One thing I discovered and someone else might tell you how
to fix: After I had rpm -e'd Imlib and then rebuilt and installed
imlib from cvs I could not get gnome-libs to recognize that libgdk_imlib.h
was in /usr/local/include. I tried make clean; rm config.cache; autogen.sh;
make with no success. Finally I had to rm -r the tree and re-checkout it from
cvs....)
