Compiling gnome-objc-0.20 (GCC 2.8.1, Slackware 3.4)

Hi there.

I've been trying to compile gnome, and I encounter this error on the
gnome-objc make:

gcc: internal compiler error: program cc1obj got fatal signal 6
make[2]: ***[obgtkObject.lo] Error 1

Any ideas? Thanks.
