Yes, I had the same problem with gcc-2.8.1-1 and gnome-0.20
It comes from optimization bugs in gcc-2.8.1
But only on RH5.0 (don't remember the cc I use on RH5.1).
Anyone wanting to compile gnom-objc with that gcc should edit the Makefiles
in obgtk and obgnome and replace the -O2 option in the CFLAGS def
with -O.
