We recently made the switch to SlickEdit.....night and day man...night and
day....for its tiny price of $195 for Linux will pay for itself 100x
inside the first month of using it. And the support and the people there
are great. I actually got an email from support the same day when I
requested additions for Objective-C. Color Syntax highlight, Vi, Brief,
and Emacs emulation, class/function hierarchy support built in, and
support of most version control systems...and its fast...

and no i don't work for them....I liked it so much i paid for an "add-on"
license for my Sparc...
