I frequently compile `gnome' snapshots under Solaris.  I used to build
snapshots almost every other day.  Nowadays, it's once a week.

I've had little trouble since the beginning -- and I've mostly been able
to checkin simple fixes.  I test the following stuff:

	1) Compile under Solaris 2.5 (occasionally on Linux/Libc5)
	2) srcdir != builddir
	3) prefix != exec_prefix
	4) prefix != /usr/local && prefix != /usr
	5) Non-root

Things have been running fine for me so far.
