I got an ancient version going (0.9 or so) but even that relatively small
version got me an email suggesting less disk usage. I don't think they'd
be amused if I tried to build the current CVS tree. ;-) 

In theory it should build though, if you install all the needed GNU tools
- if you have problems unique to Solaris email the list with them.
