ORB?

Being new to the list, I've missed whatever discussions have been held
on the choice of CORBA ORB for GNOME and beyond. What's the current
thinking on the subject? ILU, MICO, or ???

It seems to me that having an ORB as a standard service on linux could
open up some interesting possibilities. Has any testing taken place
comparing the various freeware ORBs against each other running on Linux?
