more on the addressbook database specfication

(Hm... no response about my previous post on this subject... I hope I
didn't say anything to offend anyone?  if so--it wasn't intended!!)

Anyway, I've reworked the content of my last email into something
which should resemble idl.  I'll just give a url so as not to consume
too much bandwidth...
