You need an objective C compiler of some sort :-)

I think we should put an autoconf test in that will only traverse the
obj-C source directories if an obj-C compiler is found!

I guess that this will eventually be fixed, so Jamie could just
comment the objgtk and phaser-chess directories out of the respective
Makefile.am and configure.in files.
