Not only that, once you get that resolved this will come up and bite you in the
ass:
/usr/src/cvs/gnome-core/panel/mico-glue.cc:82: undefined reference to 
`GtkDispatcher::GtkDispatcher(void)'
make: *** [panel] Error 1

I recall reading that this is known and a way to work around it but I can't 
find it now
