OK, a few idea. First, it'd be nice to bind GLE to other languages
currently used by GNOME (C++, Guile and Perl immediately come to
mind).
Secondly, .gle files could (should?) be user-costumizable. This plugs
into Rasterman's themability work... Since Rasterman is considering
the possibility to rearrange the widget layout depending on the theme,
perhaps you could email and exchange ideas? (at this point, I have no
idea what would all go into .gle file).
Finally, something to thing about: Some applications have to
create/zap widgets on the fly (for example, in GIMP, layer dialog has
to add/delete widgets as new layers are added/deleted). Is there any
nice way to handle that from GLE? (the issue is layout/signals for
widgets that do not exist yet).
