can't reproduce this .. can you send me a backtrace on it?

NO! ... the menu icon properties are GLOBAL .. right click properties
are LOCAL .. you can't stick GLOBAL config into a LOCAL property box

the expected behaviour is that the right click properties only modify
that particular applet instance ... anything global .. is in global
properties
