Hello,

I had the same problem with the diplicated macro thing, because in my
ignorance I made a link from /usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4 to ./aclocal.m4
in stead of copying the file (I het multiple copies of a file on a
filesystem) everytime I tried to compile some gnome stuff. After a couple
of days my libtool.m4 was grown from 6k to 70k and it became totally
useless. I replaced the file with a fresh one and promised myself never to
do it again :-) It worked...

I have been struggleing with this for over a week now, and I kept posting to mailing lists a last resort. I am still a newbie to CVS stuff. Maby I am missing a step or something.
