Anyone fixing anonymous CVS?

Is anyone looking into fixing the anonymous CVS servers? It
seems that they currently miss directories and mangle file
location. One example is that gnome-libs/macros is missing -
sure makes it difficult to compile GNOME.
I'm using :pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome
