panel not working?

Has anyone else been having trouble with the panel lately?  I can't seem 
to get it to register mouse clicks like I used to...it just won't do 
anything for me.  Sometimes it doesn't even start up the applets that it 
are saved as part of my session properties (the little "G" foot one to 
launch programs, in particular).  Bummer.

Just updated from CVS (gnome-guile died...did not compile...would that do 
it?) about an hour ago.
