Hi all,
just made a new gnome-core-0.28 tarball and source and binary RPMS
and uploaded it to my side again:
ftp://ftp.home-of-linux.org/pub/
Maybe I also have a solution of the problem that applets do not work:
** WARNING **: Attempt to remove connection 0x8099770 - not on active list
** WARNING **: file orbit-glue.c: line 589 (panel_corba_gtk_init):
assertion "ev._major == CORBA_NO_EXCEPTION" failed.
started applet, pid: 19655
message: Initializing CORBA for applet
After some debugging I found out that my /etc/hosts was wrong and I
changed it so a
ping `hostname --fqdn`
works - and suddenly all applets are working fine ...
Perhaps the bug was that ORBit doesn't create any error message about
the broken network configuration as mico did before.
Martin
