I think it's easiest for me if I just upload the Gnome .debs directly
to master.debian.org (this would be easier for the people that port
them to other architectures, like alpha, as well). There are other
developers who package other parts of gnome as well (ie. gmc,
gnome-perl, imlib, etc.). It seems easier to have all these different
people uploading directly to the Debian project (which already has the
infrastructure in place).

Maybe a little README somewhere on the ftp site could point Debian
users in the right direction?

It would also take some pressure off of ftp.labs.redhat.com, which is
always overloaded when a new Gnome release comes out.

Cheers,

 - Jim
