same-gnome crashes X server.

trying to run same-gnome crashes my X Server.  I think this is a bug :-)

If no one else can duplicate this, I'll send more info.... Otherwise it's
pretty reproducible.  invoke same-gnome.  It'll pop-up a window.  Before it
can display anything, X dies.

(redhat linux-5.0, Pentium-90, CVS sources from 18th April, XFree86-3.3.2
 SVGA server on a Diamond Speedstar PCI)
