Hi all,
I downloaded and installed all the Gnome RPMS from
ftp.labs.redhat.com in the devel directory(for 3 different days, the
latest being 1998041412). I followed the order given in the
startdocument, and installed/upgraded all the RPMS. When I try to start
panel, gmc, ee, etc I get thefollowing error:
[gnome@ishtar:~]$ panel
** ERROR **: BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length
erro
serial 44 error_code 16 request_code 72 minor_code 0
Aborted (core dumped)
[gnome@ishtar:~]$
The machine is RedHat 5.0 with all the latest updates. Any ideas?
PS Hope this mail is not in HTML format - my Netscape is a bit strange
sometimes 8-).
