Hi-
I am new to gnome and the list, and have the latest gnome and gtk. I compiled
my gtk 1.0 and installed it without a hitch. When I run ./configure for
gnome, I get the following error:
checking for gdk_pixmap_unref in -lgtk... no
configure: error: Can not find a Gtk 0.99.1
This would imply that I need gtk 0.99.1. Is that correct? Can I set a flag
to tell it which gtk to look for?
I am running a FreeBSD 2.2.6 system with 64 MB ram and a P166 processor. Not
sure if this is important info or not, but it doesn't hurt to include it. :)
Thanks,
Damon
