As somebody suggested, I took the cvs version.
http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/rview.cgi?cvsroot=/cvs/gnome&dir=gnome-libs
I noticed INSTALL instructions disappeared, maybe off for a rewrite ?
Autoconf ((GNU Autoconf) 2.53) still generates errors.
configure.in:6: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
configure.in:37: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:54: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LIBTOOL
configure.in:56: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_MAINTAINER_MODE
configure.in:124: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONDITIONAL
configure.in:134: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GNOME2_GETTEXT
configure.in:223: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_CHECK_UTMP
I'm probably using it the wrong way.
