Why mail has not been getting through...

smartlist, the mail processing software used for gnome.org, assumes (at
least in the configuration being used on gnome.org) that all mail with
"subscribe" in the subject is subscription-related mail, and doesn't
send it to the list.

All the mail to this list so far has been responses to people who have
sent in subscriptions attempting (accidentally, we presume) to subscribe
gnome-list@gnome.org to the gnome-kde-list@gnome.org list. Since they
all have "subscribe" in the subject, they are getting ditched.

If someone tries to start a conversation about gnome/kde interoperation,
the messages should actually be sent to the list. Just don't quote
a subject including the word "subscribe". There are currently 46 people
subscribed to the list; should be enough to have a conversation.

Enjoy the list!
