Yes, I"ll be ready for Seed by then. I hope to finish before I go on vacation. I need to talk to Robert about it and see if we can kind of collaborate on the article.

Hi everybody! I'm back from GUADEC, and I'm happy to say I received some compliments regarding GNOME Journal, so thank you for all your hard work, people have definitely taken notice.
I'm hoping to put together a GUADEC special edition of GNOME Journal as Issue 16. My goal is to publish August 1st, but no later than August 15th, depending on the articles we get.
I've reached out to possible article authors, and we'll see if they're interested in converting their talk into articles, and I'm going to blog about it as well. If you were at GUADEC, and there was a talk or application you saw that you think might make a good article, please reach out to the presenter and see if they're interested in writing or collaborating on an article.
I also took the opportunity to interview the creator of the Behind the Scenes interviews, Lucas Rocha, at GUADEC, and will include that in Issue 16. I badgered, I mean asked, Ken VanDine to write an article on Telepathy, and I'm hoping Jorge has had some time to think about his potential article.
Sri - do you think you'll have your Seed article done? We can include that as well, as Issue 17 isn't scheduled until October 1st.
Speaking of Issue 17, Jorge had a great idea for Issue 17, which is to focus it as a "Multimedia" issue. We can include multimedia application reviews, such as Pitivi, and developer articles centered around multimedia. (I met a potential writer for this issue at GUADEC as well). If you have some ideas, now is the time - drop an email to the list and let us know!
We also had some new volunteers that may be interested in helping us edit articles as well, which is great! Welcome to anyone who has joined the list since GUADEC.
Paul
