Ok ok, you are right.

I was (maybe) technically good in software development, but socially I'm a disaster. I must admit it to myself. Doing code reviews well is not a skill that I have. We cannot be good at everything. I sometimes have problems to work with other people (but it is maybe a skill that can be learned, even for stubborn people).

Recently, I've really considered re-orienting myself, to do another job, far away from computer science.

Maybe I need to take a vacation, but I have already been in "vacation" for several years now… Hum. Anyway, I'm alright, I'm safe. But you need to know that contributing to Free Software has made me suffer more than doing good, for my health. At the beginning it was fun, but it seems an eternity ago to me. (Maybe it's not just Free Software, but computer science and software development in general).

So, hum, for gspell, I don't care anymore. Do whatever you want.

If I'm again motivated by gedit, gspell, etc, I'll rename the git repos and develop/install my own versions.

(Recently, I was motivated, hence the stuff on GitHub, but this is the kind of discussion that makes me reconsider what I do in my life).

I hope that I will find a better occupation. But with a computer at home with access to the internet, I inevitably end up again typing on the keyboard, learning a bit different programming languages to see if the grass is greener elsewhere (even with a language like Rust I find several big disappointments, just to give you an idea. It seems that I'm unable to like computer science again).

So, that's it.

Why talking about all that? Because, that's mainly a social issue than a technical one. And behind a social issue, there are people. Overall, over the years GNOME has done a great job, even if it's hard to please everybody at the same time.

Sorry for the noise and the long message.
