@averi Hi! :) Among others, here are two reasons why a translation team coordinator needs commit access:
- To be able to review and submit other people's work, received outside the web UI, with proper attribution of authorship.
- To be able to submit localized files which are not in the po format (figures etc.)
Personally, I'm used to the command-line way, and I think it is wise to have a fall-back/backup option to update translations other than the web UI, as a team coordinator.
